Extension of the consortium

After the project amendment, two new beneficiaries have joined the OWHEEL consortium.

Politecnico Di Torino (POLITO) is one of the leading European universities in the field of automotive engineering. POLITO, represented by Dipartimento di Ingegneria Meccanica e Aerospaziale, will support the consortium with knowledge transfer on motion control systems for automated vehicles.

MEGARIDE is a highly innovative SME in the field of tire and vehicle testing technology. With MEGARIDE on board, the consortium would like to expand the testing programme to collect important tire and vehicle data for the assessment of the project outcomes and train the staff in advanced validation and verification procedures

Special Session at SAE WCX

The consortium partners TUIL and TUD have organised a Special Session on Advanced Wheel Corner Concepts at the SAE WCX Congress in Detroit <https://wcx.sae.org/>. The presentations have addressed both the OWHEEL results as well as outcomes of other EU projects HighScape and HiPE, clustered with OWHEEL.

OWHEEL Workshop at UTC in Compiègne

On 28-29.03.2024 the OWHEEL consortium has organised the project workshop at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne, where the project results were presented to wide audience. In addition, the knowledge exchange in the area of electrified and automated mobility has been successfully carried out with colleagues from several French universities. Kick-off Meeting

tasks Kick-off meeting of the project OWHEEL took a place on 27th January 2020. The consortium approved the work plan for the first year of the project and allocated interdisciplinary tasks to the partners.
